"First Friday Cafe" takes place the first Friday of every month in the "Garage" on the Gateway Campus. The venue provides an outlet for talented musicians to express themselves and a place for individuals to relax, sip on a cup of java and listen to some of best musical talent in the Austin area.

If you're a musician interested in playing a couple of songs to a gracious and friendlyaudience, come on out and sign up for our open mic sessions. The acoustic open mic sessions run from 7:00 to 8:00. Due to our limited time frame for the open mic sessions, I encourage you to contact us prior to the night of the event for available openings. From 8:00 to 9:00 we have scheduled acts. By going to the First Friday calender of events page, you will find who is scheduled to play at First Friday and you can listen to the music of future acts.
